Andrea Rose Wolf
August 4, 1985 - August 8, 2015
Andrea was a beautiful, talented, intelligent, sensitive girl. I miss her beautiful smile and her laugh. Everyone always commented on her smile. She loved her family and so enjoyed our family gatherings – especially when her nieces and nephews were born. She loved music and film and the English language. She was very generous and would crochet blankets and scarfs for her family and friends and for the residents in rehabs she was in.
Andrea also suffered greatly with anxiety and depression and began to self medicate at an early age. Unfortunately, we didn’t know about this until drugs had taken over her life. Although she tried many times to stop through rehabs and outpatient programs, meditation, counseling, Suboxone, eventually a mix of heroin and Fentynyl took her life.
I’m grateful she chose me to be her Mom. I’m grateful that I know love never dies and she is always with us. She is by my side in everything I do to love our family and to help others who are suffering. She set me on a journey of healing and I do everything I can to help others along with all my Beading Hearts. We miss her more than words can say and it takes a lot of work to heal.
I love this quote by Rumi: “The wound is the place where the light enters you.” I allow the light to enter my broken, open heart and I live my life to honor her and to spread love and light. Keep guiding me, my sweet Drea.
