Anthony J. Natale
January 30, 1990 - May 21, 2015
Anthony, my blue eyed baby boy. “Ant” was the one you could not tell he couldn’t do something. He would always be like “watch me!!” Ant was my daredevil – always trying to outdo the other kids in everything.
Anthony was funny, loving and loyal to his friends. If they needed him, he would find a way to help them.
When Ant graduated, he went to a party. While there he was jumped and repeatedly punched and kicked in the head and face. Anthony ended with both his jaws fractured and plates and screws had to be attached to his jaws. After surgery Anthony was given Oxycontin which started his Opioid addiction. His addiction to the pain medications led him to Heroin which was cheaper than the pills.
Anthony struggled with his addiction for years. Because of his addiction, he didn’t see his son and he lost his friends. Anthony began to feel lost, unworthy and uncomfortable within himself. Unfortunately, the disease of addiction was so strong for Anthony that he was unable to overcome it.
What is miss most about my son IS MY SON, MY CHILD! I miss hearing “Hey Mom”
