Our daughter was 25 years old when she died of an accidental overdose to Fentanyl and Cocaine. She struggled with addiction and mental health issues for years and was in and out of rehabs, outpatient clinics, and therapy.
Christina had two beautiful young boys ages 7 and 4 that she left behind named Kaden and Kolton that were her entire world and existence and reason for living. She tried so very hard for them every single day and wanted so desperately to give them a good life, be a good mother to them, one that they deserved. I KNOW she never ever would have left this earth of her own free will, no matter how much pain and suffering she was enduring.
Growing up, Christina was an outgoing, funny, friendly leader personality with lots of friends, made good grades, and had all the confidence in the world. She has three brothers who love her very, very much. She played soccer, softball, participated in cheerleading, gymnastics and horseback riding. Oh how she loved to dance too! She sang in Chorus and participated in school talent shows. I made sure she attended all school events and never missed out on anything. She really did have a great childhood as did her brothers.
It goes to show that ANYONE can end up in wrong situations with a wrong group of friends and make wrong decisions that can literally destroy a life. The events that led to Christina’s demise were more extended and compounded by specific things that impacted her and got the ball rolling. There just isn’t enough time to begin to tell that entire story here. But Christina was SO VERY LOVED by her entire family and so greatly missed!
