A soft and exceptional soul who passed on at the early age of 21 from a heroin overdose. He tried, he really tried. He did everything he could to rise out of his addiction.

Jake was my oldest, he made me a mom, he taught me about life, pain, and loss. I miss our conversations about philosophy, the human race; I miss his face so much.

Rest my son, you are free from the chains but live forever in my soul.
