Jamielynn Gordon
Dec 4, 1984 - May 17, 2017
Jamielynn was a beautiful soul. She was smart, funny, and a good friend. She was always there when someone needed her and her smile could light up a room. She was thoughtful and kind. She never missed a birthday and loved every holiday. She loved giving gifts and sometimes couldn’t wait to give it to you before your birthday because she was so excited just to see you open it! She also loved to receive gifts as well. She was excited for Christmas at 30 years old just as she was at 8 years old.
Jamielynn suffered from depression, anxiety and mental illness. She tried many medications but most made her lethargic and sick. She self-medicated by using weed and heroin. Her addiction was a long battle. She spent 10 years in and out of rehabs, in-patient facilities, out-patient facilities and even jail. She struggled for many years and it was very hard on our entire family. Jamielynn never wanted anyone to see her in pain so she always put on a happy face. However, she struggled inside more than anyone realized.
What I miss most about my beautiful girl is her hugs and her smile. She will forever be loved and missed by her whole family and her friends.
Rest in peace my beautiful angel.
