Jason Elgin
Jul 11, 1990 - May 27, 2017
Jason was such a loving, sensitive soul. He was passionate about all and who he cared about.
From an early age, Jason was an artist, never having enough paper for all of his writings and drawings.
Jason struggled with anxiety. Jason did things his way. He did not do well under any authority. After years of me begging him to go to rehab, he did. He left the rehab in April, 2017 without telling me. On May 27, 2017 my son succumbed to an overdose having at least 3 kinds of Fentanyl in his system among other things. He died on a bathroom floor in a homeless shelter. I am forever sad without my Champ. (On the day he was born on July 11th, the nurses called him Champ because he was the biggest baby in the ward).
He will always be my Champ and my world.
