Josiah Sklar
Sept 23, 1993 - Dec 14, 2019
Josiah struggled with emotional abuse from some closes relatives. He used various forms of self-medication for 12+ years. He was a strong Christian since the age of 5 and knew that he had a call to ministry. He loved to read the Bible and pray for others. He loved skateboarding, playing basketball, writing rap music, both secular and Christian music. He made several YouTube videos.
Josiah was fiercely loyal to his friends. He was kind-hearted and compassionate to all. He did not have much but what he did have, he would always share. He loved his momma and his older sibling.
Josiah is remembered for his humor and perseverance in the face of addiction and physical hardship. His bosses always saw the spark for greatness and gave him untold opportunities. He was well liked by his co-workers.
I miss his quick smile and big hugs and his heart for Jesus.
