Justin was my oldest. He was a very special person and was one of the smartest people I know. He was a computer genius building his own computer and working remotely by building a server he kept in my house.
He struggled with drugs for over 5 years. He was in and out of 9 rehabs in three different states. He was a sensitive soul and had a great sense of humor. I know he didn’t want to live like he was living but he just couldn’t help it. I went to California and saw him a month before he passed away. He told me he will never go back to rehab. He was done with his struggle. He passed away alone in a motel room. I wish I could have saved him. I tried.
Not a moment goes by when I don’t think of him. My heart aches every day missing him but I hope he is in a better place.
