Nicholas was a warm, loving, and compassionate young man. He was a friendly person who always had a smile and time to listen to people he met. Nick had a wonderful sense of humor and was usually able to get a laugh out of us – even on our worst days.
Nick struggled with depression and anxiety since childhood. He tried to overcome these issues with the help of counselors and medical personnel but never found much relief. Sadly, he began to self-medicate in his teens. Although he successfully overcame his addiction to heroin many years ago, he was unable to remain off Xanax.
We miss the forever light he brought to our lives.
