Robby died on August 17, 2019. He was 19 years old.

His struggles began in his sophomore year in high school. He was a talented athlete and played varsity football and wrestled varsity in his freshman year. By his junior year he had been kicked off all teams and his rehab, jail, overdose journey began.

His father and I met in AA and raised Rob in a sober household; however, genetics won. He was living in a sober house and clean for 9 months when he died. Not only was he sober, he was happy that he was sober. All it took was one bad thought. He died of a fentanyl-laced heroin overdose.

What I miss most about Robby is EVERYTHING. He was light and loved his entire life. He came to this planet to show his dad and I how to really live. He succeeded.
