The Beading Hearts Overdose Loss Support Group on Facebook is a “closed” group. that requires prior approval.
NOTE: Please first complete our CONTACT FORM and include in the message box the first and last name of your loved one, relationship, date of birth and anniversary date. This information is used only for internal purposes.
Once you have sent your information, please follow the steps below. Initially, you will be in a pending status but we will be able to approve on a timely basis as we will have the information required to join the private Facebook group.

- Before Joining the Group, Read the Description of the Beading Hearts Overdose Loss Support Group
The description is located within the members column
- JOIN GROUP
After you have read the description, select “Join Group.” When clicked you will see that status has changed to “pending.”
- Be Patient While We Review Your Request
Within a day or two, check your Facebook messages folder. There should be a message from our administrator regarding your joining the group.
Check your Facebook notifications which will tell you that you have been approved.

Become a Volunteer
Our members are provided volunteer opportunities for involvement in outreach activities in order to have a greater impact for change. Such activities are always free of charge to participants and does not include compensation to the volunteers.

The Beading Hearts Overdose Loss Support Group is a volunteer-operated nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff. We rely on our volunteers and board members to do what it takes to make The Beading Hearts Overdose Loss Support Group available to all.
Connect with us and make a real difference to the life of those in need. Our support groups meet weekly in-person on Long Island, New York and by online meetings.
